| Dan O'Neill has been a guitarist and tutor of guitar for some years and is currently in the final year of studying a bachelor degree in music at the DIT Conservatory of Music. Dan has the honorable distinction of being one of only two undergradutes studying compostion in the final year at DIT Conservatory of Music. He presently composes contemporary classical music under the stewardship of contemporary Irish composer Jane O'Leary.
Before going to DIT Dan studied under Ben Dwyer and Brian Kavanagh at the Royal Irish Acadamy of Music. While at the Conservatory of Music Dan has studied under the pre-eminent Irish classical guitar performer John Feeley and with Mick O'Toole at the Conservatory of music.
An enthusiast for all things jazz and blues Dan has also attended Jazz lessons from Irish jazz greats such as Louis Stewart and Hugh Buckley (www.hughbuckley.com). He also has collaborated with Ronan Guilfoyle jazz school at www.newparkmusic.com
